George, Jeanne Catharine, age 78 of Mt. Juliet, TN, was born on January 22, 1945, and passed away on August 31, 2023, surrounded by her family.

 Jeanne loved children and dedicated many years to caring for twenty-six (26) special needs foster infants. She loved to travel and after retiring as a dental hygienist for thirty- two (32) years, Jeanne and Mike traveled this country in an RV for fourteen (14)  years from Florida to Alaska and everywhere in between. Places she could not drive to she would cruise to. She loved to cross-stitch and was devoted to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Jeanne Copeman.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Michael George; son Chip George (Beth Harvey); daughter Michele (Brian) Graves; grandchildren, Blaine (Paula) Hutchins; Sydney (Adam) Deboben; Aaron and Claire Graves; great-grandson Bryson Hutchins; and brother Tom Copeman.

Visitation will be held at Sellars Funeral Home 2229 N Mount Juliet Rd. Mt. Juliet TN 37122 on Thursday September 7th from 6-8pm.

Funeral Service will be held at St. Stephen's Catholic Community 14544 Lebanon Rd. Old Hickory, TN 37138 on Friday September 8th at 2pm with Father Michael Pendergraft officiating with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Mount Juliet Memorial Gardens 650 W Division St. Mount Juliet TN 37122. Reception to follow at St. Stephen's Catholic Community Hall.
