Yes, Marky was buried in the military cemetary here in Jacksonville.  Linda and I attended his funeral.  I worked with Marky in many areas of his life.  He was almost always positive and friendley.  We grew up in the same neighborhood, Ridgewood, and spent a lot of time together.  He was in the Army but got out about 3 months before he qualified for full retirement benefits.  He was in my livingroom when the twin towers went down.  I have many fond memories of Marky also some sad ones.  I loved him and talked to him about Jesus many times.  I believe he was saved.

We were best of friends and ran together, had fun but probably was misunderstood by many while attending DuPont.

We lost contact with one another for the years after DuPont but still considered Marky to be my best friend.

Was told by another classmate about Marky passing in which I knew nothing about and it saddened me to think nobody thought of contacting me.

From what I have been told, Marky did join the Army and qualified for burial in the National Cemetery near Jacksonville.

Rest easy my friend,

Grandle
